Important information about health plans.
√ You can call your health plan 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and talk to someone or leave a message. If you leave a message, someone will call you back.
If you’re in Regular Medicaid, you can call the 24 Hour Nurse Hotline.
√ Do not go to the emergency room unless you have a real emergency, such as a lot of pain or something that you think might be very serious. If you go to the emergency room for something minor, such as a sore throat, you might have to pay.
If you are not sure if it’s a real emergency, and if you have time, call your doctor first.
